During Camden City Council’s May 8 meeting, the Camden Historic Landmarks Commission (CHLC) presented its 2018 Historic Preservation Awards. Here, the awardees pose with council and CHLC members including (front row, from left), Roy Fakoury and Elizabeth Triplett, renovation of a downtown historic commercial building; JarVor Williams, project manager, restoration of the Amtrak Depot; Amy Eudy, city staff, Agnes Corbett Preservation Service Award for her dedication to the CHLC since 2015; William “Rusty” Major, CHLC chair; Jack Brantley, Community Impact Award for bequeathing his home, Aberdeen, and collections to the city of Camden; Barbara Willens, renovation of a designated historic property; Laurin and Jenn Riley Burch (and family), renovation of a non-designated historic property; CHLC members A.
