Here’s a schedule of happenings in Kershaw County for this year's Ag+Art Tour.

Kershaw County’s 3rd annual participation in the South Carolina Ag + Art Tour takes place this weekend. Generally, most farm sites, ancillary sites and other locations take place 9-5 pm on Saturday June 2, and 1-5 on Sunday, June 3. However, there a few exceptions. Please see the schedule of happenings below:

Farm & Ancillary Sites Include:

In CAMDEN:

Kershaw County Farmers Market / 906 Broad Street, Camden (Saturday until Noon only) – at their brand new Downtown Camden location featuring growers, artisans, music and more. @KCFMMarket

Quite Contact Farm / 104 E. Hampton Street, Camden (Saturday and Sunday). This “urban farm” is a large vegetable garden farmed with a collection of vintage Farmall tractors. They will have beehives, honey, chicken tractors, purple Martin gourds, colonial style snake rail fencing, whirligigs, and handmade spoons!  Also featuring:

• Water colorists Dr. Alice Brooks and Mrs. Patricia Johnstone painting on site and with art and gift cards for sale

• Soap maker Robin White

• Bird house creator extraordinaire Brian Baldwin

Plus Americana musician Jeff Clark will entertain from 1-5 pm both days. Veggie related sweets and drinks will be available. Farm is owned by The Mill Village Veterinarian @hamilton.tetterton

“Ag + Art Walk” - takes place in Downtown Camden.

• The Artist Attic at 930 Broad Street (Saturday 10 – 4 & Sunday 10- 3) featuring “walk in” flow painting classes.

• Rutledge Street Gallery at 508 Rutledge Street (Saturday 11 – 5)  featuring a select group of artists, including contemporary, realism, landscapes, figures,  conceptual art, and sculpture.

• Northlight Studio at 607 Rutledge Street (Saturday 10 -5) featuring art of Camden’s Laurie Brownell McIntosh and friends. @Northlight803

Other ancillary sites in Camden include:

• Littlefield Growers, 907 Broad Street / Saturday only

• Longleaf Flowers & Plants, 1011 Broad Street (TenEleven Galleria) / Saturday only

• Beyond Bargains Nursery, 756 Hwy 1 North / Saturday, and Sunday 10-3

In REMBERT:

Old McCaskill’s Farm / 377 Cantey Lane, Rembert (Saturday only until 1 pm) – featuring Ashley’s homemade prepared meals, farm fresh meats, 100% woolen products and other goodies. Plus Blacksmith Kennedy Bynum will firing up the forge! @oldmccaskillsfarm

In ELGIN:

Goat Daddy’s Farm / 144 Tomahawk Trail, Elgin (Saturday and Sunday) – featuring  a fantastic tour of this unique farm, plus “Xquisitely Designed” glitter stemware and unique signage with snarky sayings, barn quilt artisan Cindy Strickland, felter Fiber Fantaisies, the Pine Tree Hill Wildlife Care & Exotic Rescue team, music, BBQ and more. @goatdaddys

In LUGOFF:

Gorget Distilling Company, 1974A Whiting Way, Lugoff / Saturday only / free tasting & tour @gorgetdistilling

In BOYKIN:

Historic Boykin Mill Store, 73 Boykin Mill Road, Boykin / Saturday only / Country store with lunch!
