The Kershaw County Post 17 American Legion baseball team will host Lexington tonight in a 6 p.m. doubleheader at American Legion Park in Camden.

Last night in Lexington, rain and lightning forced the postponement of the scheduled first game between the sides in the bottom of the first in a scoreless game. That contest is scheduled to be picked up from the point in which it was stopped; the bottom of the first  with a Lexington runner on second base and no outs and is slated to go the complete seven innings.

Immediately following the completion of the opener, the two League III foes will play a five-inning second game to complete their two-game season series.

The twinbill placed even more demands on Post 17 which will now play four league games in three nights. KC travels to meet Sumter on Wednesday at Riley Park before closing the week by hosting Sumter on Thursday. Both games have 7 p.m. starting times.
