After having opened pre-season camp last Friday, Kershaw County’s three public school varsity football teams will get a chance to hit someone other than their own teammates when the scrimmage season opens next week.

There is no charge to attend a preseason scrimmage.

Here is the complete scrimmage slate for the three Kershaw County football teams:

Lugoff-Elgin: Thursday, Aug. 2: at Airport (9 a.m.); Tuesday, Aug. 7: at White Knoll (5 p.m.)

North Central: Saturday, Aug. 4: at Indian Land (10 a.m.); Tuesday, Aug. 7: Keenan (6 p.m.)
