Looking for an adventure in nature and learning for your children?

The Clemson Extension’s annual conservation day camp will be held Aug. 6 -10 at Goodale State Park in Camden from 10 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. daily. Under the careful guidance of natural resource professionals, participating campers will enjoy nature walks and learn to identify birds, plants and other wildlife. They will also have opportunities to improve their skills at fishing and archery with SC DNR instructors. Daily activities will conclude back at base camp, with a daily question and answer sessions, a light lunch, and parent pickup at 2:30 p.m.

Medical releases for each camper are required. The cost per camper is $50.

Registration runs through Aug. 3 or until the program fills. The program limited to 15 campers ages 8-12.
