World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame member Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and five-time World Championship Wrestling World Tag Team Champion Buff   “The Stuff” Bagwell will headline The Kershaw Clash, a Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling card to be at the Camden High School gymnasium on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Bell time for the first bout of the evening is set for 8 p.m. with the gym doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The night of wrestling will benefit the Camden Police Officers Association, a charitable arm of the CPD which sponsors an annual Spouse Appreciation Awards Banquet and a Christmas for Kids program among other events and services.

Steamboat was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 after having been the organization’s Intercontinental heavyweight champion in 1987-88.

Also scheduled to be on the evening’s card are the Steiner brothers, Scott and Rick, who won seven World Championship Wrestling Tag Team titles after wrestling collegiately at the University of Michigan. Scott Steiner is also known for being the leader of WCW’s New World Order stable of wrestlers.

Many other MACW wrestlers will step inside the ring on Saturday

Tickets for the evening, which is being sponsored by Burger King of Camden, Candy’s at the Granary, Colony Inn of Camden and Lugoff Toyota, are $10 for general admission seats and $20 for ringside seats.

Tickets are on sale at Steeplechase Bar and Grill (1044 Broad St. in Camden) and at Dave’s Place (811 Highway 1 South in Lugoff) as well as at the door on Saturday.
