Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sulina Parker Prather, 86, of Camden will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Camden with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family received friends Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Prather’s memory to the American Cancer Society, C/O Gail Kirkland, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Mrs. Prather died Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Born in Lee County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Farrell L. Parker, SR. She attended Winthrop College and worked for 22 years at C&S Bank in Sumter as a head teller. Mrs. Prather was a member of Salem Methodist Church of Lee County. She loved her family, to cook until she was unable and loved to shop.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Doug Outlaw his wife Missy, Scott Outlaw and his wife Dana and Susan Eldreth and her husband Ronnie; great grandchildren, Blake Outlaw, Reed Outlaw and Gracie Outlaw, Anna and Abby Eldreth, Davis Outlaw and Aden Outlaw; sisters, Joyce Carlton of Camden and Pam Hancock and her husband of Dalzell. She was predeceased by an infant son Kirk, daughter, Patricia Ann Outlaw, son-in-law, Norman Douglas Outlaw; grandson, Jason Kirk Outlaw and brother, Farrell L Parker.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
