Tonight marks the opening game at renovated Zemp Stadium. Along with the changes and improvements, Camden High School principal Dan Matthews issued a few reminders and rules to help make for  safe and enjoyable evenings of football throughout the 2018 season.

Tickets are $7 each for all home games.

The new polices and changes are as follows:

* No bookbags or bags may be brought into Zemp Stadium. Women’s purses will be allowed into the stadium but, will be checked and “wanded” by law enforcement officials.

* No outside food or drink may be brought inside the stadium. This includes thermoses or cups purchased at various restaurants/stores.

* There will not be “pass out” tickets issued to those who leave the game early. Once a spectator leaves the stadium, they will be required to purchase another ticket to re-enter. Matthews said no exceptions will be made. “It does not matter if you are a reserved seat ticket holder or not,” he said.

* Fans who enter one side of Zemp Stadium will not be allowed to cross the field to the other side.

* Standing in the end zone will no longer be allowed.

* All fans are asked to stay in their seats and not congregate along the fence and obstruct the view of other fans or, congregate in the areas extending beyond the main grandstands on both sides of the field.

*Visiting fans are asked to park in the grass lot behind the new visitors’ grandstands --- the lot in front of the Kershaw-Cornwallis House --- and may purchase tickets at the booth at the south end of the field in front of the visitors’ locker room.

* Camden fans may purchase tickets at either window at the entrances to the home side of the stadium, located across from E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena.

  * Camden fans with club level seats may park in the paved lots behind the home side grandstand --- next to E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena. Those CHS fans who have purchased reserved seats will be directed to park in a specific area in the old American Legion baseball field, located behind the south end zone. General admission parking for Camden fans will also be available in the back end of the lot at the former baseball field.

* The home side concession stand, located under the grandstand, will have both windows open to help expedite that process. The visitors will have their own concession stand located in the north corner on their side of the field. Kona Ice trucks will be selling shaved ice products on both sides of the stadium.

* The Camden Spirit Shack, which will sell various articles of CHS clothing and souvenirs, has been moved and will occupy the site of the former visitors’ side concession stand and, for the time being, will not sell food or beverages.
