Former Bulldog joins practice unit

Thomas Austin did not stay unemployed for very long. Austin, the former Camden High and Clemson University standout, signed with the New England Patriots on Wednesday. The three-time Super Bowl champion added the 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive guard to their eight-man practice squad.
