Davis is a homegrown Camden boy who was raised as a singer, songwriter, storyteller and showman. Over the last 10 years he has made an impressive musical mark in Nashville, Tenn. Davis learned the finer points of rock n’ roll, folk, R&B and soul from his guitar-playing father, local musician and guitar shop owner, Rusty Davis. At age 16, Davis joined his dad on stage and since that initial “gig,” music has been the only job he has ever held.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Davis headed to Nashville, where he continues to build his songwriting, artist and touring career. He has released four well-received full length albums, toured the U.S. and Europe as both a headliner and support act for Darius Rucker, Jewel and others while also being employed as a staff writer for Warner Chappell Music Publishing. Davis has had more than 50 of his songs recorded by other artists, including Jimmy Buffet, Lady Antebellum, Imelda May, Darius Rucker, Jewel, Robert Randolph, Guy Clark and many more.

Recently Davis’s attention has turned more toward writing songs for his own performances and his live touring band, Patrick Davis and His Midnight Choir. Davis’ Midnight Choir is an 11-piece band featuring horns and background singers created by Patrick in early 2016 from both his own artistic vision and the soundscapes of his songwriting and performing heroes, Van Morrison, Lyle Lovett, and Bruce Springsteen.
