Due to the implications of Hurricane Florence and with school districts in the region cancelling classes this week, it forced a total revamp to tonight’s scheduled slate of high school football games in Kershaw County.

Camden High was to have played West Florence tonight. The hope is for that game to be rescheduled, depending on when classes resume in Florence County. Additionally, Homecoming, originally slated for Friday, has been moved to the home game with Fairfield Central on Friday, Oct. 5.

Both Lugoff-Elgin and North Central moved their games slated for tonight to Wednesday and were scheduled to host Fort Mill and Andrew Jackson, respectively.

Due to an early printing deadline for today’s edition of the Chronicle-Independent, coverage of those games will be included in the Tuesday, Sept. 18 edition of the C-I.
