With the inclement weather as result of Hurricane Florence headed for Kershaw County and throughout the Palmetto State this weekend and into next week, the 24 Hours of Lemons “Southern Discomfort” race weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park and the downtown Camden block party, originally scheduled for tonight through Sunday, have been postponed.

New events will now be held Nov. 2-4.

The 24 Hours of Lemons race, featuring cars with a total value of less than $500 days, will hit the CMP track on Nov. 3-4. The night before, Friday, Nov. 2, the Town Green in downtown Camden will host the annual Friday Night Block Party from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Camden native Josh McCaa and his friends will provide the musical entertainment for the evening which will also include judging antics along with a wild array of interesting race cars and their drivers.

For more information on the weekend’s festivities, log onto www.carolinamotorsportspark.com, or call CMP at 475-2448.
