L-E hosts state champs wrestling clinic Saturday

The Lugoff-Elgin Wrestling program will host its fourth annual Kershaw County State Champs Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. inside the Lugoff-Elgin High School mini-gym.

The clinic is open to any elementary, middle, or high school wrestlers in Kershaw County (grades K-12). The cost is $50 per wrestler which includes a T-shirt, pizza at the conclusion of the session and free admission into the Demons’ first home wrestling match of the season on Nov. 28 if campers wear their T-shirt to the match. 

Registration will take place Saturday beginning at 8:15 a.m. Campers are asked to bring workout clothes as well as wrestling shoes or, tennis shoes. Checks should be made payable to the L-E Wrestling Club.

The clinic will feature wrestling tips and instructions from former South Carolina state wrestling champions from Kershaw County.
