The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is holding the Kershaw County Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 8 at 10 a.m. The parade route is down Broad Street in Camden, from Laurens Street to City Arena. This year’s parade theme is “A Disney Christmas.”

Participants are not required to use the theme. However, “it’s a great way to involve everyone in the event. This year’s theme is meant to bring the joy and happiness of Christmas in the magic kingdom to the streets of Camden,” Kershaw County Chamber Executive Director Amy Kinard said. Parade organizer, Loree Stokes, said, ”Kids love the Disney characters and I can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces when they see their favorite in the parade.”

The parade entry form can be found on the chamber’s website at www.kershawcountychamber.org/christmas-parade. Deadline for entry forms is today, Nov. 27. Any forms received following that date will be assessed a $10 late fee. For additional information or questions, contact Loree at the chamber, (803) 432-2525 or lstokes@kershawcountychamber.org.
