“Remember when...” is a weekly historical feature showcasing life in Kershaw County, taken from the archives of the Chronicle-Independent. Ten nurses graduated at Camden Hospital in the spring of 1947. They included (first row, from left) Helen Manor, Sadie Frietag, Annie Belle Moates, Mary Lee Simpson, Margaret DeBruhl, (second row) Annie Mae Goodwin, Hazel Adams, Rosa McLeod, Edith Simpson and Carolyn Hall.
