There will be a pair of fundraisers to help support the Lugoff-Elgin Middle School athletic program on Saturday, April 30 at the school.

Beginning at 10 a.m., there will be the L-EMS Mighty Leopard Cornhole Tournament. There is a $15 entry fee to compete in the singles portion of the tournament and a $30 entry fee for doubles play. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Cash payouts will be based on the number of entries.

The doubles tourney will be the first to be contested with the singles competition to follow.

Also at 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., there will be a cheerleading clinic open to girls from kindergarten through the fifth grade.

The cost is $10 per participant and girls will learn cheers, dances and jumps. Parents will be allowed to come inside the gym at 11:15 a.m. in order to take photos or shoot videos of their children performing cheers and dances. Old cheerleading uniforms and cheer T-shirts will also be on sale at the clinic.

Also included in the festivities will be a bake sale, concession food, silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.

For more information, contact the school at 438-3591.
