Leading the way in health science

Students enrolled in the Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) health science program won numerous honors in statewide health occupations competition for high schools held recently in North Charleston. ATEC did very well in the career health display category with four teams placing in the top six out of 63 teams. The competition is sponsored by the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), a national leadership organization for students enrolled in health science and nursing programs.
