Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodwin of Al Paso, Texas, and Carol Goodwin of Camden announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Denise C. Goodwin of Camden, to Mr. Albert G. Blanding, III of Camden. He is the son of Mr. Albert Blanding, Jr. of Camden and Mrs. Dorothy M. Stuckey of Camden.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Merele Libert of New Haven, Conn. She is a graduate of North Central High School and an ATEC Nursing School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Louise Canty and the late Arthur Johnson. He is a graduate of Camden High School.

The wedding is planned for September 3, 2011.
