Miller qualifies as Naval nuclear operator

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathanael P. Miller, son of Julie and Mark Miller of Elgin, recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.

During the course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Miller received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. Upon completion of the course, Miller qualified as a Naval nuclear operator.

Miller is a 2002 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and joined the Navy in April 2009.
