Miss Kalutz, Mr. Fontaine wed

Miss Mary Evelyn Kalutz and Mr. Robert Ashley Fontaine were married at 4:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Edisto Beach Baptist Church, Edisto Beach, SC. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Robin Heath. A reception followed the service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elledge.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Nancy Lambert Kalutz and Dr. Theodore Eugene Kalutz of Camden. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eugene Kalutz of Columbia. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the University of South Carolina.

The groom is the son of Ms. Rhonda Barrett of Lexington and the late Robert W. Fontaine of Edisto Beach. He is a graduate of College of Charleston, and is the owner and operator of Edisto Seafood Company of Edisto Beach.
Mrs. Katherine Kalutz Yoder served as her sister’s Matron of Honor. The Maid of Honor was Miss Alice Curtin Thaxton. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ellyn Sanders Alexander, Mrs. Elizabeth Boykin Carrington, Mrs. Margaret Haskell DiBiase, Miss Ashley Lynn Koon, and Mrs. Anna Keely Sanders.

Mr. William Barry Fontaine and Mr. James Allen Skinner served as the groom’s best men. Groomsmen were Mr. John Adam Freeze, Mr. William Eugene Kalutz, and Mr. Nicholas Bates Smith. Ushers were Mr. Robert Strong Barrett, Jr., Mr. William Bowers Bates IV, and Mr. Hunter Wilcox Rafoth.

Misses Mary Helen Yoder and Margaret Katherine Yoder, nieces of the bride, and Misses Kiley Marie Gates and Taylor Leanne Gates, nieces of the groom, announced the bride with bells. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Melanie Ferguson, pianist, Mr. Tomas Jakubek, violinist, Mr. Andrew Mille, cellist, and Mr. Mark Heath, soloist and guitarist.
The couple will reside at Edisto Beach.
