Funeral services to honor the life of Rollin George Reynolds, Jr., 79, of Rembert will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Beulah United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Vince Halter will officiate. The family received friends, Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the home. Memorials may be made in Mr. Reynold’s memory to Beulah United Methodist Church, 820 Beulah Church Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Mr. Reynolds died Thursday, May 26, 2011. Born in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Rollin G. Reynolds and Minnie Belle Neff. He received his Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he was a member of SAE fraternity. Mr. Reynolds was a United States Air Force Veteran having served for 37 years, 35 of those years in Auditing and Accounting primarily in Management as Deputy Accounting and Finance Officer at Shaw AFB. He volunteered at Safe Federal Credit Union for 48 years and during that time he served on the Board of Directors from 1964 to present and served as Chairman of the Board for nine of those years. Upon his retirement with Safe Federal Credit Union he was named Director Emeritus. Mr. Reynolds served at the State of South Carolina level on the Board of Directors for the SC Credit Union League. He enjoyed many sports but was passionate golfer. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church where he loved his church and was a past treasurer of the board.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Edna Strak Reynolds; son, Rollin G. Reynolds III and his wife Gay of Rembert and grandson, Rollin G. Reynolds, IV and his wife Leigh of Camden.
