Remember when... 1976

“Remember when...” is a weekly historical feature showcasing life in Kershaw County, taken from the archives of the Chronicle-Independent. Parent volunteers at Lugoff Elementary School were recognized for contributing more than 300 hours of service to the school during the 1975-76 school year. The parents honored were (seated, from left) Mrs. Margaret DeGroat, Mrs. Carolyn McDole, Mrs. Betty Medlin, Mrs. Bonnie Belger, (standing) Mrs. George O’Hara, Mrs. Janice Lankford, Mrs. Mary Wright, Mrs. Yvonne Peake and Mrs. Mary Jones, curriculum coordinator. Not pictured were Mrs. Reid Earnhart, Mrs. Beverly Baumback, Mrs. Dean Colvin, Mrs. Janet Greigel, Mrs. Sara Shirley, Mrs. Susie Nunn, Mrs. Jane Smith and Mrs. Mary Sullivan.
