This week 63 youth and adult volunteers have worked in Kershaw County repairing homes for four families.  The Wateree camp has volunteers from South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Arkansas.  Home repairs are free of charge and include roofing, plumbing, painting, flooring, carpentry and other construction projects.  Salkehatchie Summer Service is a ministy of the South Carolina United Methodist Church involving more than 3,500 volunteers in more than 50 locations. Salkehatchie is a life changing experience for youth. For more information, contact Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church at 432-3191.
