KC Dixie Majors kick off tourney

  The Kershaw County Dixie Majors (ages 15-16) baseball team will begin post-season play on Saturday when the West Wateree-based team heads to Seven Oaks Park in Irmo for the District 6 tournament. The KC entry will face Lexington in the 11:30 a.m. game. The double-elimination tournament continues Sunday through next Thursday. The team is coached by Ron Blair, Mike Cassady and Brian Murphy.
