Students in Libby Davis' class at Wateree Elementary School – including James Moran and Kiana Green -- visited the fishing hole and were busy fishing in class. The youngsters made a fresh catch (paperclips) using magnetic poles (pencils with magnets attached). After completing five visits to the fishing hole, students then calculated their average number of catches for the day. During this lesson, students learned many science- and math-related terms.
