Take time for others

What kind of memories are you leaving behind? Have you ever thought about that?

Children don’t remember an expensive gift or toy for long. The special moments someone took the time to sit and listen, make a craft or do some activity with them is what is remembered.

Going for a walk with a loved one (child or adult), reading a book together, cooking something together, sharing a laugh (when crafts don’t turn out right) … these are memory makers.

In this busy world, we’re too busy to stop and take time to enjoy the moment! Just looking at a beautiful flower or butterfly, taking a swim together, watching a movie together … these are a few things to make a special memory.

Memories are like footprints. Some are gone very quickly, some make a lasting impression.

What kind of memories are you leaving with your grandchildren, children, spouse or friends? Loving, caring, happy ones? I hope so!

Sometimes God gives us a short time with our loved ones. Make the most of today! Tomorrow may never come.
