Scholarships available to high school seniors, $2.3 million to be distributed

The Elks National Foundation (ENF) “Most Valuable Student Scholarship” applications are now available. The ENF awards $2.3 million each year in college scholarships to a total of 500 high school seniors nationwide through its most valuable student scholarship contest.


Students must be a high school senior and a U.S. citizen. Judging criteria will be on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Students may apply by visiting their high school guidance counselor for an application or go online at www.elks.org/enf/scholars. You may also inquire at the Camden-Lugoff Elks Lodge, 1333 Elk Ct., Lugoff, SC 29078 or your local Elks Lodge.

The deadline for the application to be delivered to the local Elks lodge is Dec. 1. SAT testing, etc., must be included.
