Some people deserve recognition for going "above and beyond" and Al Priester, who runs AAA Towing in Lugoff, is one of them. My family and I were traveling from North Carolina to Georgia on Memorial Day when the transmission burned up in our car. We were on I-20 in Lugoff and Al was there a few minutes after calling roadside assistance. We weren't able to get a rental car so he took us to a hotel and said to call him if we needed anything. That meant a lot to us, being in a new place without a car.

Just before we left the next day, we sold our car to Al. Because it was an older car, we didn't think we should spend the money to get it fixed, just to have something else major go wrong. But I wasn't ready to part with it, so a few days later I called Al and asked him if we could get the car back. I was so happy when he said we could. He said he does what is in the best interest of his customers and letting the car go back to us was in our best interest.

Knowing that we were still a little concerned about the condition of the car, he took the time to check it out for us and said it was in excellent condition and definitely worth fixing. We appreciated that so much and wanted to send him some money but he didn't want any money. He said that he did it as a favor to us. He also spent his time on the phone helping us with different options for getting it fixed from 200 miles away. He has since made a courtesy call to check on us and the car and said to call him if he could ever help us with anything else. Al is a very kind and professional person and a wonderful representative for your area.
