The first test of the season for Camden comes against 4A Fort Dorchester. That annual neutral site pairing will be contested Friday at 5:30 p.m., on the campus of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg.

Lugoff-Elgin will play host to Cheraw on Friday in a 6 p.m. start inside L-E Stadium. Also on Friday, North Central will entertain Lamar in a 6 p.m. start.

In all three instances, the scrimmages are free and open to the public.

Meet the Knights and Cow patty bingo on tap at North Central:

Both events, which are free and open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Fans of the North Central varsity football and volleyball teams will be introduced to members of the 2011 squads and their respective coaching staffs at that time.

The evening will also have the always popular cow patty bingo, which will take place following Meet the Knights. Squares are being sold for $5 each and will be on sale at the event. The lucky winner will earn the prize money.

All proceeds from cow patty bingo will be used to help fund the entire athletic program at North Central High School.
