Charleston Thompson, a rising high school senior and the reigning Camden High School Miss Gold and Black is sponsoring an Ice Cream for Breakfast Sunday from 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church (LSUMC).
Donations will be accepted with 100 percent of the collections going to Give Kids the World (GKTW).

GKTW is a nonprofit organization in Florida that gives children with life-threatening illnesses and their families a chance to visit the theme parks in Orlando completely free of charge. Since the organization was founded in the 1980s, it has provided adventures for more than 100,000 families in all 50 states and more than 70 countries.

Ice cream can be eaten for breakfast at GKTW. The wish families never hear the word “no” during their stay, so the ice cream parlor is open from breakfast through dinner for anyone who would like a scoop or two!

Charleston has been on all three of LSUMC’s trips to GKTW and has chosen this ministry as her platform while serving her term as Camden High School’s Miss Gold and Black.
