State has problem with food stamp system

I am so amazed that people who apparently don’t need food stamps for food can swap them for money, alcohol and apparently whatever they want, and even more amazed at the proprietors would exchange them illegally.

Apparently, South Carolina has a big problem or the Department of Social Services doesn’t screen some of the people like they do others. I am one of the others. I make $770 a month and, according to DSS, I only am entitled to $14 in food stamps per month.

South Carolina, we definitely have a problem. Is this what our taxes are going for? If you really need them, you don’t get them -- not for food but maybe for anything else you need.

I can tell you as a Christian, God is not pleased with what is going on in this state. Where is their pride?
