Let's find a solution together

I always thought hospitality was freely given without even thinking about it by the one who gives. It seems odd to me that the word tax would even be combined with it. Sadly, taxes have become burdens that we pay out of a grudging obligation to governments who would have us believe they know what's best. We vote, hoping those we elect will help change things for the better and represent all fairly and judiciously.

I could never aspire to be a politician as the level of frustration would exceed what my prescribed blood pressure medicine could contain. To the point, good debate brings all sides to the table for the best compromise for all. I feel like I'm looking at Camden through a straw and not getting the whole picture. I know there are good people in all sides of the arguments I've been reading about in the Chronicle-Independent of late. And I have faith in them on all sides that the resolutions will represent all parties to some degree. I have faith good leadership will bring all together and not divide; listen and not dictate. Let’s all take a big step back, take a breath and exhale and look at the whole picture without a straw. Together, we'll get past this. I love this town and always will, no matter what.
