Free movie showing at KC Farmers Market Friday night

The Kershaw County Farmers Market will sport a big screen come Friday night. “Movie at the Market” will offer free concessions and childrens inflatables along with the showing of “Megamind.” Activites begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie will begin at 8 p.m. The program is sponsored by Malvern Hill Baptist Church, Agape Hospice and First Community Bank.

“Megamind” is a 2010 computer-animated superhero action comedy film directed by Tom McGrath and rated PG. According to IMDB.com, after defeating superhero Metroman and taking over Metro City, evil genius Megamind finds himself bored and lonely. So he creates a new hero that he can defeat, but gets more than he bargained for.
