Race to Read promotes literacy in Kershaw County

The 6th Annual Race to Read is sponsored by KershawHealth. In the upcoming weeks, Betsy Long, media specialist at Doby’s Mill Elementary, has set a goal to get 150 registrations. So far, 120 have signed up. This is the first year that Race to Read has included an 8K race, and according to Long, the school is hoping for a big turnout.
