Father Michael Bullock

Having served Grace Episcopal Church for four months as a supply priest, Father Michael Bullock has accepted the appointment as priest in charge at the Camden church.

He has been an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church for 32 years and has served in Connecticut, Massachusetts, central New York and South Carolina. Bullock lives in Columbia with his wife, Beverly, who is the assistant branch manager of the Cooper Branch of the Richland County Public Library. They have three grown children.

Bullock came to South Carolina in 1999 as rector of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, Columbia, serving in that capacity until 2008, when the then-Bishop of Upper South Carolina called him to be his Canon to the Ordinary (his executive). When the present Bishop of Upper South Carolina was elected in 2010, Bullock assisted in his transition and then sought to return to his first love: parish ministry. Having served at Grace as a supply priest, Bullock accepted Bishop W. Andrew Waldo's appointment as priest in charge of the parish.

Grace Church is located at 1315 Lyttleton St. in Camden; the phone number is 432-7621. Holy Eucharist services are held at 8 and 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, and there is also a special healing service on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Visit the church’s website at www.gracechurchcamden.org for more information.
