Camden native named Miss South Carolina Heart of America

Bre’Anna T. Hayes of Camden has been awarded the title of 2011 Miss South Carolina Heart of America, for Miss Heart of America, LLC, producers of the nationally recognized Miss Heart of America Pageant Program. She will be representing her state at the 2011 Miss Heart of America Nationals on Saturday, Nov. 19 in Orlando, Fla. where she will be competing for a $5,000 scholarship along with other titles and prizes.

Bre’Anna T. Hayes is the daughter of Teresia Hayes, Derrick Dixon and Christopher Myers. Her maternal grandparents are the late John Lewis Seward and Patricia Hayes. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mozell all residents of Kershaw County.

The Miss Heart of America Pageant strives to provide our contestants with the opportunity to have fun, establish lasting friendships, build confidence, and self-esteem; all while encouraging them to get involved with organizations in their community, that benefit those in need. The queens are involved at the local level with many charitable organizations. Bre’Anna has enjoyed a fun year of making appearances and being involved in her community.
