Keep county money out of city Y project

Thank you, Kershaw County Councilmen, for your service to the citizens of our county. It’s a sometimes thankless task, but one that consumes much time and energy which, fortunately, you are willing to extend.

I personally only know Mr. Gardner. The others I know by name only. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the job you do so very well for the most part. I know it takes time away from your families and other pursuits you might enjoy. But, there may be light at the end of the tunnel. If what I am hearing widely throughout the county is indicative of the view of the majority of the citizens, vote to invest county monies in the city’s YMCA project and you will have more time to spend with your families after your term has expired.

I apologize if that sounds threatening. Please don’t consider it as such. Consider it more like a promise. Obviously, I personally will be disappointed if you spend county money on such an ill-conceived venture (my opinion), but I still appreciate your service.
