Community Medical Clinic receives $10,000 grant from First Citizens Foundation

The Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County has been caring for uninsured residents of Kershaw County for 12 years. The number of patients with diabetes has steadily increased since 1998 when the clinic opened its doors. The First Citizens Foundation helped meet a growing need to focus on the prevention of diabetes in obese patients.
