The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce held its 101st annual awards gala Tuesday, a ceremony that recognized and honored members of Kershaw County for their dedication and volunteerism to the chamber and county.

KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan confirmed the number Wednesday morning. KCSD Chief Financial Officer Donnie Wilson had mentioned the figure during a Kershaw County Board of School Trustees facilities and finance committee meeting Tuesday.
