All-Area football teams salutes county's top players

While last fall's win totals may not have been what Kershaw County football fans are accustomed to, there were many solid individual performances turned in by players.

Internet sexual predator sentenced to 20 years

A Gastonia, N.C., man arrested in March 2012 caught in a Internet sexual predator sting and accused of engaging in sexual relations with a 15-year-old Kershaw County girl will now spend up to the next 20 years in prison.
