L-EHS Palmetto Boys State delegates

Nine seniors from Lugoff-Elgin High School represented Post 195 in Lugoff at the 75th Anniversary American Legion's Palmetto Boys State program. Boys State is recognized nationwide as a prestigious leadership camp and South Carolina has the largest per capita program in the country. This year, 1,026 rising high school seniors represented South Carolina schools to learn about leadership, government and citizenship.
