Cheer Invasion All-stars win big in Myrtle Beach

The Cheer Invasion All-stars (CIA) invaded Myrtle Beach last weekend! CIA, the competitive cheer team from Spirit Athletics in Lugoff, attended a National cheerleading competition in Myrtle Beach, March 21-23. All four of Spirit Athletics' teams came home with a national title.

Margaret Lloyd ‘Celebration of Life’ to be held at FAC Sunday

Margaret Lloyd moved with her husband, Richard W. Lloyd, to Camden in the early 1950's and both embraced the community. They donated land and buildings for the community center (Price House), the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County (Douglas-Reed Building) and the nucleus of what became the Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site. The family is planning a small memorial garden at the FAC to honor both of their parents.

Mrs. Birdie Mae "Johnnie" Fletcher, 89, of Camden, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 31, 2014. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Deacon Tee Fletcher. A Celebration of Life and Homegoing Services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at Four p.m., at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Camden, with burial in the Church cemetery.
