Charles Larry Robinson, 62, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born June 6, 1951, in Lancaster, a son of the late Conway and Catherine Melton Robinson. Larry worked many years in construction. He loved to ride his Harley. He loved animals and enjoyed being with his friends. Larry will be deeply missed.
The Livi's Library Foundation, represented by Harris Godfrey and his mother, Amanda, delivered a new bookshelf filled with gently used children's books to the Sandhills Medical Foundation (SMF) clinic in Lugoff. Lynn Seeley Kelley of Camden, South Carolina, entered into eternal life peacefully on Aug. 9, 2013, after living at Ashton Place in McLeansville, NC, during several months of declining health. He was 92 years old.
Sometime in mid-September, the old Maxway building -- vacant for more than a decade at the northwest corner of Broad and Rutledge streets in Camden -- will be gone. Demolition will begin during the next few days.
