Henry M. Williams, Jr., (Mackey) and Ann Graves Williams will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2012. The couple was married in Columbia, South Carolina on February 3, 1962. They were high school sweethearts at Camden High School and have made Camden their home.
Mr. and Mrs. David A. Jones of Lugoff, SC, formerly of St. Albans, WV, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Storage One has partnered with Camden Elementary School of the Creative Arts (CESCA) to show appreciation for all the school does for its children. When a new renter mentions CESCA, a portion of their first month's rent was given to the school. On Monday the owner of Storage One, Josh Denton (left) presented a check for $150 to Camden Elementary Principal Ed Yount for this effort. Storage One of Lugoff and Camden plan to continue this special for CESCA and look forward to expanding their partnership to Lugoff Elementary School.

Recently, Camden lost a wonderful lady. Alanna C. Shepherd passed away at KershawHealth hospital. My grandmother suffered a massive stroke and after some time spent in the ICU, she was then sent to the Hospice floor. The care that she received was incredible. Everyone treated "Nana" so nicely. They treated her with dignity and respect. Robin, who came in the room to make Nana more comfortable, was so, so sweet to her. She talked to her the entire time she was in the room.
