I am a Green Beret, albeit an older one. I haven't worn my "Green Sponge" in over 40 years. I am also a Camden resident. When it was announced that my fellow Special Forces Association soldiers would be visiting the Revolutionary War Park (on Thursday) I made certain I would be there. It was a bitter-sweet experience.

Victor G. Yarborough, 70, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2014. He was the son of Ethal Mayo Yarborough and the late Amos E. Yarborough. Survivors include his children, Kilry Yarborough of Raleigh, NC, Keiah Yarborough-Minott of Stamford, CT and Karlon Yarborough of Bridgeport, CT. He will also be sorely missed by seven siblings, Alan, Melvin, Kenneth, Clarence, Jerry, Carolyn and Larry, sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
