CHS student reports receiving online threats

In the wake of the Oct. 17 post-game incident following Camden's 39-30 football victory over Dreher at Zemp Stadium, the Camden Police Department reported that a Camden High School student-athlete reported receiving threatening messages, via cell phone, allegedly, from someone from Dreher High School.

Funeral service for William A. "Bill" Dickey, 65, will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Outreach Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Cameron and the Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Donnie Joyner, Dan Joyner, Kyle Dickey, James M. Clyburn, Stephen Mays, Louis Clyburn III, and Scott Moore. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or New Life Christian Outreach Building Fund.
