Local schools 'make the grade'

For the first time since implementation of the state report cards in 2001, 100 percent of the Absolute ratings issued for the Kershaw County School District and all of its schools are Excellent, Good or Average. Statewide, 85 percent of high schools achieved this level for Absolute ratings and 82 percent for elementary and middle schools.
