CHS fall sports teams set up practices

CHS football sets up schedules: Camden High School will conduct its first varsity football practice for the 2015 season on Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m. at the school. All sophomore football players are expected to begin practice this Friday as well.

Editorial: Traffic light needed

Most, although not necessarily all, people in Bethune appear to want an actual traffic light at the intersection of U.S. 1 and S.C. 341 rather than the blinking red and yellow lights there now or a proposed four-way stop. We happen to fall into the traffic light column on this issue. First, if set up correctly, with sensors to alert the system someone on U.S. 341 wants to cross the intersection, the light can be set to green most of the time for U.S. 1 traffic.
