Sheheen is SC Addictions Professional of the Year

Frank Sheheen Jr., a lifelong resident of Camden, was awarded the South Carolina Addictions Professional of the Year by the S.C. Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (SCAADAC). Relay For Life fundraisers approaching in March

The City Slickers Car Show and Fundraiser for Relay For Life of Kershaw County will be held Saturday, March 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tractor Supply Co. in Camden. The event will include a dunking booth with local celebrities, and people's choice awards for classics, "oldies but goodies," trucks, cycles and pro-mods. ‘Alice in Wonderland’ tumbles onto the FAC stage

It's a little bit Alice and a little bit Through the Looking Glass! Vincent Rawlinson

Vincent "Poppa" Rawlinson was born on October 22, 1965 in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late James Rawlinson Sr. and Gracie Jacobs Rawlinson. Hayes Creek Skateboarding Competition

There will be a skateboarding competition Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Hayes Creek Subdivision in Elgin. The event is sponsored by Salty's Board Shop in Columbia. Dog’s human mom experiences drama at local dog park

Dear Annie: I have an 8-month-old puppy, and I take her to a local dog park so she can run off leash and play with the other dogs, which she loves. In the three months I have been taking her, "Phoebe" has never been attacked or fought with another dog. That was until last night, when Phoebe approached another dog that was on a leash and that dog attacked her.
