KCSO seizes 44 marijuana plants from Elgin residence
During the early morning hours of Feb. 13, Kershaw County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at 128 Sheffield Rd. Elgin, and discovered a fully operational indoor marijuana grow. According to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, his officers seized 44 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. Beverly Brevard was selected as January's "Employee of the Month" for the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office. Brevard has worked in law enforcement for 22 years, beginning in 1989 as a 911 dispatcher. She began working directly for the sheriff's office in 1995, and now works in the records and sex offender registry.

Dear Annie: My husband and I have been happily married for 15 years and recently decided to try an open-marriage lifestyle. We are doing this with full honesty and respect for each other.
